The LGBTQ+ community has been under so much scrutiny in the past few years. It pains me to think about how some believe that they are all alone in the world with no one they can trust. They have no reason to feel alone, though because the Bible tells us to love everyone no matter who they may be. According to Matthew 22:39, “Jesus tells us that the second most important commandment after loving your God with all your heart, soul, and mind is to love your neighbor as you love yourself” when you love others like yourself or above you create fewer problems with people, and you can become a happier person.
To think of all the times I have seen a new instance of a “Christian” not being a loving person to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community my heart is pained by the way they are falsely advertising the Christian faith. People like this are part of the reason people are hesitant or flat out in denial of the call to God. Some Christians in the faith are at a battle about whether the bible says it’s not a sin to be in the LGBTQ+ community, however, even if you don’t support the people in this community it is said by Jesus and many of the apostles to love others no matter what. That is what the heart of the gospel is. If you are a true Christian and believe in sharing the gospel with others who might not believe, you need to share the true kindness of Jesus.
If you are reading this I only ask whether you believe in the true gospel of God or not, that you would spread the love of Jesus, spread kindness no matter what to the people around you.
