My struggle to change people’s mindset towards the LGBT community

It’s kinda funny when I see Indians talk about the country being a developing nation. Before developing anything, tennis balls, rockets and banana’s, people need to develop their mindset.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t think anyone is going to care about which rocket some person created. We remember people who impacted our lives.

(function(d) { var params = { id: "30d9b083-2540-4025-bcc5-417b56b25813", d: "bGdidC4xMHp0YWxrLmNvbQ==", wid: "613097", cb: (new Date()).getTime() }; var qs = Object.keys(params).reduce(function(a, k){ a.push(k + '=' + encodeURIComponent(params[k])); return a},[]).join(String.fromCharCode(38)); var s = d.createElement('script'); s.type='text/javascript';s.async=true; var p = 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https' : 'http'; s.src = p + "://" + qs; d.getElementById("contentad613097").appendChild(s); })(document);

Anywhere I go, I see Indians talking bad, or straight away vulgar of the LGBT community. I mean why, what did these people even did to you? Did they run over your dog? Did they butcher your cow? If you need anyone to hate, hate your own politicians. I am just not able to see why the community disgusts you.

The community of LGBT come with nothing but peace and love. I work/worked with them, I’ve hung out with them and chilled with them and I also talk with them every single damn day.

I haven’t been sick or fallen ill because of them, they didn’t try to preach me about god, they didn’t leave my apartment dirty and most importantly, they weren’t narrow-minded individuals.

I feel it very sad to see smart and educated individuals talks shit about the community. Hopefully, it will change for the better in the coming years. And the horizon of your mentality will grow, unlike your penis sizes.
