Co-host of Drag Race Thailand, Pangina Heals, stunned an unexpected visit audience this week.
Heals, also known as Pan Pan Narkprasert, donned and inflatable Pikachu costume to entertain refugee children on the Thai-Myanmar border.
‘So happy to put smiles on their faces’ Heals wrote on Twitter.
About 100,000 refugees live in camps on the Thai-Myanmar border. The world’s longest-running civil war in Myanmar forced them to flee their homes.

Asia’s drag superstar
Heals, a half-Thai half-Taiwanese drag icon in Asia, is also a prominent LGBTI rights activist.
Heals in March shared videos as she dressed her family members in drag.
‘My dad said love has nothing to do with gender and he did drag with me to say to the world that art love and acceptance does not have a barrier or walls’ wrote Pangina Heals.
Next, Pangina Heals dressed their 92-year-old grandmother. ‘A family that drags together stays together’ they wrote.
