Drag Race queens release cover of ‘Jolene’ and Dolly Parton is obsessed

Dolly Parton is obsessed with this cover of Jolene performed by RuPaul’s Drag Race queens.

And we can’t blame her!

Some of the biggest stars from the VH1 show participated in the video.

The queens include Alaska, Bebe Zahara Benet, Ben Dela Creme, Katya and Manila Luzon.

Also starring is Ginger Minj. The season 7 runner-up and All Stars 2 participant has a role in the Netflix film Dumplin’.

Dumplin’ stars Danielle McDonald as a girl that finds herself as unexpected participant in a beauty pageant. Jennifer Aniston also co-stars as a judge and former winner.

Dolly Parton penned the music to the film.

In a pivotal scene in the film, Dumplin’ goes to a drag bar with a lot of Dolly Parton impersonators.

And so, it’s no wonder that Netflix decided to put together this promotional video to Jolene.

‘Go to the Smoky Mountains, they said. It’ll be fun, they said,’ Parton said, with two ‘crying with laughter’ emojis.

‘Thanks to Ginger Minj and all the other queens in this new Jolene video!’

Ginger reacted with total shock and surprise.

Manila Luzon also said: ‘We love you Dolly! Thank you for letting us play dress up as you!’

Fans responded with a lot of glee.

‘OH MY GOD MY 2 LOVES IN LIFE ARE MESHING TOGETHER AND I CANT HANDLE IT,’ one said.

‘It’s what you deserve,’ also said.

‘Legends supporting legends,’ another also added.

Our only real question, where the hell was Trixie Mattel??? Apparently, she was ‘busy’. We can only imagine how she must be feeling right now!
