Dear State Attorney Campbell,
A dog suffered serious injuries after reportedly surviving a shooting. The suspect admitted to the crime, police stated, and then fled the scene. I demand justice for this poor animal.
Police arrested Darrel Wyche Jr. on charges of animal cruelty after he allegedly shot a defenseless dog. The pup was outside using the bathroom, the owner stated, when Wyche came by and shot twice. The poor animal immediately returned to the owner, reportedly limping and bleeding. Wyche then hid the gun in the brush and fled the scene, police stated. Wyche reportedly resisted arrest, and he became verbally and physically aggressive in the patrol car. The dog is expected to survive. Wyche was released on bond, and he will face his charges at a later date.
This alleged cruelty cannot go unpunished. I demand that you seek the maximum penalty in this case.
Sincerely, [Your Name Here]
